on! What You Will Be Doing -Secures model plans from the Sales
Representative to begin preparation of bid proposal. -Review plans
and scale all dimensions off of plans in preparing bid proposals.
-Visits job-site to accurately measure each project. -Prepare
measuring sheets for final approval of the plans. -Upon complete of
documents pertaining to the preparation of the bid proposal, it is
then presented to the Outside Sales Representative, who will
present proposal for review with builder. -Finalizes all tract
pricing including base price, built-ins, selectable, and custom
options, freight and service. -Reviews scope of contract for
accuracy and compliance. -Collects and prepares the necessary
documentation to create producible order. -Compiles all paperwork,
purchase orders, change orders, etc., necessary for the Sales
Administrator to insure prompt payment of invoices. -Provides
estimate of project timeline. -Works closely with other departments
and job site superintendents to meet strict delivery schedules.
-Prioritize approvals by delivery date. -Notifies Detailers and
Manufacturing what cabinets are to be built, costs and what
materials to order. -Maintain ongoing information of the current
status to ensure on time delivery. -Track progress to cost, budget
and timing for each project, reporting any variances, and
suggesting ways to bring project back to plan. -Ensure project
concept is preserved and met and adhere to company standards. -Work
closely with contract administrator tracking changes on a per lot
or per contract basis. -Keeps contract administrator informed as to
changes requiring contract amendments. -Performs other duties
assigned. What You Need for this Position 1.Knowledge of
construction industry. 2.Ability to communicate with a variety of
customers. 3.Ability to negotiate and secure bid procedures.
4.Ability to utilize organizational skills. 5.Ability to
recommend/take action to direct the analysis of and solution to
problems during the project cycle. 6.Ability to use processing
skills. 7.Incumbent must be proficient using typing skills with
office automated systems such as a personal computer and/or
computer terminal with printer capability to perform word
processing, database management, and other software applications.
8.Ability to resolve discrepancies. 9.Ability to gather facts,
review selection sheets, analyze, and investigate changes not
entered into tract pricing to process selections made for cabinets.
10.Knowledge of contracts in order to monitor and track contract
