This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to grow, learn and move up within the company.Location: Tracy, CAThis position will report to the:Warehouse ManagerFLSA Status : Non-ExemptWhat You'll be Responsible For in this RoleInspects forklift equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, etcProcesses clear and accurate paperworkConveys material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areaSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.Assembles customer order from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to the shipping department and may load material onto a truck.Counts items to ensure conformance to company standards.Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specificationsMarks materials with identifying informationOpens bales, crates or other containers if needed.Maintains inventory records.Records the amount of materials or items received or distributedMay use computer to enter recordsPrepares parcels for mailingHas inspection authority to release or not to release product prior to deliveryPerforms other duties and/or responsibilities as requestedWhat We're Looking ForMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)2 years' experience in warehouse environmentAdditional Required Qualifications:Forklift certified a plusAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memoAbility to write short correspondenceReasonable AccommodationsReasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
