Job Number: 2179163Our industry leading, Bay Area Automotive client is seeking to fill a 8 month contract Logistics Coordinator void for their Tracy, CA facility. Assignment: 8-month contract assignment slated to start September 25th Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm Compensation: $24.62-$25 per hour (DoE) Amongst this Logistics role, one will be tasked with the following day to day duties:

• Verify orders going out, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating activities between the local and East Bay Warehouse facilities.
• Daily purchase order checks. Cycle counting to coordinate replenishment demands.
• Foster, promote and maintain a safe work environment while reporting any unsafe conditions.
• Run root cause analysis data reports to account for inaccuracies or discrepancies - support corrective measures.
• Enforce 6s policies amongst primary departments. Continuous improvement is vital!To succeed in this role, the incumbent will possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Exhibits a positive attitude and approaches his or her work with determination.
  • Exudes and takes pride in excellent work in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 2 years' of Logistics experience, strongly preferred in an automotive production environment.
  • MS Office Suite (specifically MS Excel to maintain data sheets, reports and day to day documentation).
  • Effective communication amongst cross functional departments with various Direct Reports.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
