For our Tracy, CA 300-person manufacturing facility, we are seeking a Warehouse Clerk to help us achieve the growth needed to continue moving our organization to even larger levels!
We Ask Of You To:
Computer entry of Bill of Lading, manifests, inventory locations, load schedulers and general SAP, Lean Logistics and JD Edwards's applications.
Ensure product shipping needs report is completed for a minimum of three day in advance and sent to QC and WHSE personnel.
Work with corp. personnel and warehouse manager/supervisors to resolve any order issues.
Receiving of purchased cheese, packaging supplies and other ingredients.
Effectively communicate with all levels of employees within the organization, as well as customers, vendors and visitors. Work with Corporate Traffic, Product Management and Marketing to keep abreast of daily shipments and receivers.
Generate certificate of analysis using the computer systems and manually if needed.
Keeping Quality Control informed on daily shipments that require QC paperwork.
All other required tasks associated with shipping/receiving clerks and inventory.
Perform any other function that may be required or assigned.
Department team participation; G.M.P. audits, behavior sampling, safety audit etc. Participate in Injury investigations, management presentations, following up on outstanding work orders, etc.
Must be able to perform essential job functions and be able to multi task.
Set appointments in Lean Logistics and load scheduler to maintain a consistent/efficient work load
Work in unison with Powder Warehouse Foreperson and Product Management to maintain a consistent/efficient workload in Powder Warehouse.
Update inventory pallet space availability for both freezer and powder warehouse and send to corp. PM.
Create PO requisitions for vendor invoices relating to work completed in the warehouse.
Keep in constant contact with Forepersons and Supervisors as to daily shipments.
Maintain an accurate pallet inventory working with pallet vendor and Whey Powder Foreperson.
Work in unison with other shipping and receiving clerks to maintain a balanced/efficient workload between the desks.
Create weekly problem cheese report and distribute to department managers.
Write off product as directed by warehouse or accounting management.
Complete any other reports or duties based on business needs and demands.

Competitive pay rate at $27.84 an hour .
You Have (Minimum Qualifications):
Pass the following tests:
Excel (at 70% or higher), WORD (at 70% or higher), TYPING
35 WPM, TEN KEY
140 KSPM
Must be able to meet shift/schedule requirements.
Must be willing to work necessary Overtime as needed.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language.
Must be able to perform essential job functions of position with or without reasonable accommodation.
