What you'll do

DocuSign is seeking a passionate and experienced DEI Business Partner to join our Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team. In this strategic role, you will partner with designated business units to develop and implement long-term DEI plans, driving impactful initiatives that foster a more inclusive and equitable workplace. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, HR partners, and executive leadership, applying your expertise to elevate DEI efforts and champion best practices.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Culture & Engagement Director.

Responsibility

  • Consult with senior executive business unit leaders to develop and implement annual DEI strategic plans, ensuring alignment with DocuSign's overall DEI vision
  • Design and manage global and functional employee engagement programs that promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, fostering a sense of belonging for all
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on mid-management and above hiring processes, providing valuable insights to ensure a diverse candidate pool
  • Identify and recommend DEI programming initiatives to be implemented across the enterprise, ensuring effectiveness and impact
  • Champion DEI initiatives through regular communication within business units, including presenting updates at town halls and leadership meetings
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to various business unit working groups, providing strategic guidance and support on DEI matters
  • Analyze data to identify trends and derive actionable insights for business leaders and HR Business Partners, informing strategic decision-making
  • Support the broader DEI team with operational tasks and special projects as needed, demonstrating strong collaboration skills Job Designation

    Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

    Positions at DocuSign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job.     What you bring

    Basic
    • 8+ years of experience working cross-functionally in a complex corporate environment
    • 8+ years of demonstrably successful experience in program management and implementation specifically within the DEI space
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic initiatives for business units
    • Experience in change management and effectively navigating stakeholder relationships across diverse groups in an enterprise setting
    • Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, embracing change with a resilient and solution-oriented mindset
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, exhibiting flexibility and agility
    • Experience designing and implementing data-driven programs, with proficiency in managing dynamic budgets
    • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing effectively, adapting to changing needs, and keeping collaborators informed Preferred
      • Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and motivate individuals and teams towards achieving shared goals
      • Deep understanding and appreciation for diversity encompassing cultural background, ethnicity, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and other intersectional differences
      • Excellent communication, writing, collaboration, and project management skills
      • Strong program/project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
      • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
      • Experience working in a high-tech, fast-paced, and hyper-growth environment
      • Experience working in a multicultural environment and supporting a globally dispersed workforce. Wage Transparency

        Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

        California: $118,300 - $182,775 base salary

        Illinois and Colorado: $111,600 - $153,525 base salary

        Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $111,600 - $162,625 base salary

        This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
