Job Title: Security Officer - Full Time and Part Time

Location: Tracy, CA

Environment: Distribution Center

Pay Rate: $17.00/HR.

Shift & Hours: Various Full-Time shifts available (Shifts will be discussed during the interview process)

GardaWorld Security Services is looking for Security Officers to fulfill different assignments for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

* Checking trucks in and out of the locations, as well as directing inbound loads to designated lot and door locations
* Checking employees and guests in and out of buildings
* Handing out visitor packets
* Checking that trailer numbers and seal numbers are correct and installing the seal numbers are correct and installing the seal
* Monitoring refrigeration, fire, and security system panels/systems for alarms and direct alarm incidents to the proper manager for immediate resolution
* Roving patrols and perimeter walk at client locations
* Observe and report activities at an assigned site
* Respond quickly to critical situation
* Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds
* Other duties as assigned by GardaWorld and client contract requirements

Qualifications:

* Legally authorized to work in the United States
* At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
* A valid California BSIS Guard Card and 8 hours of BSIS training completion is preferred
* Pass a background screening which includes, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal) and drug test

Education:

* Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
