Job Description:


The Product Supply Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing all job functions within the Product Supply Department. They are responsible for meeting the established safety, quality, costs, efficiencies, utilizations, on-time delivery, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and retention targets. The Product Supply Supervisor understands in detail all functions of the jobs within the department. They are responsible for coaching and mentoring team leaders and other members of the department. The Product Supply Supervisor has overall responsibility for training and developing growth opportunities for their team while ensuring a safe and secure work environment that operates in compliance with SOPs and existing regulations. The Product Supply Supervisor develops team objectives that support current operating objectives, and ensures that product and process improvement opportunities are realized. They are responsible for interfacing effectively with customers and suppliers internally and externally. This position reports to the Department Manager.

  • Experience with RF scanners

  • Conduct routine GMP and Safety audits

  • Promote teamwork and the WCM process

  • Administer all CNP policies.

  • Meet or Exceed all Department and CNP Metrics

Essential Functions:

  • Plans, develops and implements organization policies and goals

  • Develops required strategies, people and training systems, processes and technologies to deliver results to target

  • Plan and direct department activities and established priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors

  • Coach, develop and supervise staff and create self-directed work teams

  • Be a change agent who can create and articulate a vision of operational excellence throughout the facility and deliver the results through performance management.

  • Uses analytical problem solving to identify root causes, most probable causes, possible solutions and develops processes to test solutions

  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, clear direction, coordination, and working relations with company personnel and with management

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a logical sequence that maintains productivity within the department.

  • Must be detailed oriented

  • Communication skills which facilitate interaction between employees, management, and customers.

  • Safe work practices and procedure knowledge

  • Required to be on the facility floor more than 50% of the time coaching and developing people.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Product Supply Supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the California Natural Products policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include delivering operating results to target, assisting in the hiring process, training employees; holding personnel accountable; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 7+ years experience in a food manufacturing and warehousing environment
  • 4 year degree desired
