DESCRIPTION OF JOB SCOPE The Janitorial Grounds Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards across areas of the production facility. This role supports Classic Salads' commitment to operational excellence and food safety by ensuring all designated areas remain hygienic, organized, and in compliance with regulatory and internal protocols. DESCRIPTION OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Clean and disinfect restrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and high-touch surfaces according to schedule. 2. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wash down walls as needed throughout restrooms, offices, and lunch areas. 3. Maintain restrooms by refilling toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers. 4. Clean mirrors and wash down restroom walls as needed. 5. Empty trash receptacles in restrooms, lunchrooms, and offices. 6. Clean and maintain lunchroom, including wiping tables and counters. 7. Clean refrigerators and windows in the lunchroom. 8. Replenish hand towels, soap, and sanitizers in the lunchroom. 9. Maintain cleanliness of office spaces, including trash removal and surface disinfection. 10. Sweep, mop, and vacuum office areas as needed. 11. Restock hand sanitizers in office areas. 12. Distribute smocks and PPE to designated locations as needed. 13. Report all deficiencies or equipment issues in the lunchroom and other assigned areas to management. 14. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, and company hygiene policies at all times. 15. Maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation as required by the manager. 16. Report all injuries and incidents big or small. 18. Work/cross train in other areas 19. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary. EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience of work in a similar environment preferred. Basic understanding of sanitation and workplace safety standards. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to work independently and in team environments. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED OF THE EMPLOYEE TO PERFORM THE JOB CONSTANTLY FOR 8 OR MORE HOURS WALKING, STANDING, BENDING NECK, BENDING WAIST, SQUATTING, CLIMBING, TWISTING NECK, TWISTING WAIST, BOTH HANDS USE (SIMPLE GRASPING, POWER GRASPING, FINE MANIPULATION, PUSHING AND PULLING, REACHING BELOW AND ABOVE SHOULDER LEVEL) DAILY LIFTING AND CARRYING REQUIREMENTS FOR 8 OR MORE HOURS 2 OZ -25 LBS 7 FEET HIGH, 20 FEET IN DISTANCE
