Job Description:
At Walmart Inc., the largest multinational retail giant, we are
seeking a talented Staff Data Scientist to specialize in
Conversational AI within our Data Science & AI department. This
role focuses on developing and enhancing intelligent conversational
interfaces that improve customer interactions across all our
digital platforms. The successful candidate will apply robust data
science techniques and build sophisticated AI models that
understand and predict user needs by leveraging vast amounts of
data collected from our diverse retail environments. Your work will
directly impact the customer experience, making shopping seamless
and personalized. Design and implement machine learning models for
natural language understanding and generation. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and
UX designers to integrate AI capabilities into Walmart's customer
interfaces. Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to assess
model performance and impact on user experience. Stay updated with
advancements in AI and machine learning technologies that can be
applied to conversational systems. Analyze large-scale customer
data to identify trends and insights that assist in model
improvements. Document and present model development processes and
findings to stakeholders at various levels. Proficiency in Python,
R, or a similar programming language. Experience with NLP tools
(e.g., NLTK, SpaCy, Bert) and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow,
PyTorch). Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms,
model validation, and testing. Ability to manipulate large, complex
data sets using a variety of tools. Excellent communication and
collaboration skills. Skill in data visualization and tools such as
Tableau or similar. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision

Machine Learning (e.g., IBM Data Science Professional Certificate).
Optional: Certification in a specific tool or technology relevant
to NLP or Conversational AI (e.g., Google Cloud Certified -
