In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to design and execute strategies that ensure Baseten attracts and hires top talent across non-technical functions such as operations, marketing, sales, and customer success. You'll work closely with the hiring managers, and cross-functional leaders to deliver a world-class candidate experience and ensure every hire contributes to our vision of building the future of ML infrastructure.RESPONSIBILITIES:As a fast-growing team, we expect the responsibilities of this role to evolve over time. Here are some of the areas where you could have an immediate impact:

• Full-cycle recruiting: Own the recruiting process from role kickoff through offer acceptance for non-technical roles such as marketing, sales, operations, and customer success.
• Candidate experience: Ensure a seamless and positive experience for every candidate, with clear communication and timely updates throughout the process.
• Sourcing strategies: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build pipelines of highly qualified candidates, leveraging tools, platforms, and creative outreach.
• Employer branding: Partner with the marketing team to create compelling content that showcases Baseten's culture and positions us as a top employer in the ML space.
• Hiring process improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize recruiting processes for efficiency and scalability while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Data-driven recruiting: Track and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates) to inform hiring strategies and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Diversity, equity, and inclusion: Build and promote inclusive hiring practices that attract and retain diverse talent across all non-technical teams.REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proven success hiring for non-technical roles such as marketing, sales, customer success, or operations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on delivering a great candidate experience.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Ashby, Lever) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
