Lastly we do offer a hybrid work schedule making it easier for you to show up your best everyday to work!Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a seasoned Purchasing / Buyer to join our team in the construction / manufacturing industry. This exciting role is pivotal to our business operation, as the selected candidate will be responsible for managing all purchasing activities across our construction projects. This includes sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and managing inventory to ensure the smooth execution of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in the construction or manufacturing industry and must be familiar with MRP, production planning, purchasing, receiving, demand planning, cost reduction, sourcing, materials, inventory, supply chain, RFQ, vendors, procurement, supplier, freight, 5S, construction, and manufacturing.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts.
• Review and manage the supply chain to ensure inventory is maintained at optimum levels.
• Implement cost reduction strategies in procurement processes.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure all materials are received on time and within budget.
• Analyze and predict future demand for materials and services.
• Handle freight arrangements and logistics.
• Implement and uphold 5S principles in all work areas.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with MRP, Production Planning, Purchasing, Receiving, Demand Planning, Cost Reduction, Sourcing, Materials, Inventory, Supply Chain, RFQ, Vendors, Procurement, Supplier, Freight, 5S, construction, and manufacturing.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • Excellent understanding of the construction industry, including the ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and purchasing management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
