Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Salinas, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,152 to $1,296 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00/Hourly. Summary: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services that help patients regain or improve their daily living and work skills . The COTA implements treatment plans, documents patient progress, and assists in rehabilitative programs for individuals with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges. Responsibilities: Assist the OT in carrying out individualized treatment plans. Provide therapy to patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities. Use therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, and exercises to improve daily living skills. Encourage patient participation and motivation during therapy sessions.
