The Opportunity - Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians. - Previous ED experience is preferred. - Current CA state license is a plus. - Visa Candidates are encouraged to apply. The Practice Good Samaritan Hospital – San Jose, California - 474-bed hospital with a 35-bed Emergency Department. - Annual volume of 64,000 with a 20% - 25% admit rate. - High acuity site with great exposure to pediatrics and geriatrics. - Comprehensive Stroke Center and STEMI Receiving Center recognized for excellence in patient care. - Awarded the American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines Gold Plus in Stroke Category and Target Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus. - Honored with the Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll for addressing cardiovascular risks in diabetic patients.
