Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for an in-person Occupational Therapist serving a diverse K-12 student population across multiple rural school sites. The position is based in Watsonville, CA, and supports a caseload of approximately 50 students ranging from preschool through high school age. You will work collaboratively with another OT, providing tailored interventions primarily for regional preschool students aged 3 to 5 years, as well as older students across seven rural schools and one high school. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, treatment, and consultation services to students in preschool through high school settings Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs and school goals Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support student success Manage a flexible caseload, adjusted based on experience, ensuring quality care across multiple school sites Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with all regulatory and program requirements Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapist license in California required Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school teams and families Ability to manage a moderate caseload and adapt to varied student needs Position Details: Contract position for current and next academic years (immediate start through end of 2025-2026 school year, extending through 2026-2027) Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Benefits: Competitive compensation with weekly pay Comprehensive insurance package including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage Matching 401(k) retirement plan Flexible Spending Account options Additional ProCare benefits designed to support your professional and personal well-being This role offers an impactful chance to support students developmental progress in a collaborative school environment.
