Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Tracy, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,960 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience in a community hospital or Trauma Level 2 facility License: Active RN Licensure in California Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS Certification Must-Have: - 2 years of circulating experience in a community hospital setting, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), Plastic Surgery - Conscious sedation experience - On-call availability required, including overnights on weekdays, weekends, and holidays Description: Provides individualized nursing care based on knowledge of basic competencies in the fundamentals of nursing and pharmacology. Utilizes the nursing process applied to geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge. Requires knowledge of standards of care, nursing assessment parameters, and pharmacology, including doses, purpose, interactions, side effects, and reactions to medications. Must be comfortable with GI cases. Will administer sedation and perform C-sections as needed. Additional skills include administration of blood and blood products, various surgical procedures, and infection control measures. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
