Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Tracy, CA Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $2,628 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Tracy, California, 95376! Demonstrates in depth knowledge of nursing process in addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological needs of patients. Provides competent care to patients with a variety of diagnosis including: diseases of the cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, neurological, renal and endocrine systems, sepsis, carcinoma and pre- and post- operative surgical patients and pediatric patients. Must be able to recognize life threatening conditions and intervene appropriately; patients at risk for injury and skin break down, and provide patient education and discharge instructions to patients utilizing the electronic health record (EHR). Responsible for developing, implementing and coordinate an interdisciplinary plan of patient/family care, and either managing that care totally, or through delegation and direction of other members of the nursing care team. Anticipates and recognizes potential problems and intervenes appropriately by notifying and updating the Charge Nurse and Physician and other nursing staff as needed. Requirements Required: CA RN License ACLS BLS PALS EPIC charting experience required Requires 2 years recent clinical experience in critical care or PACU in an acute care setting of similar size and complexity to facility.
