Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Shift start times between 6:45 AM and 8:30 AM • On-call requirements include overnight shifts on weekdays, 24-hour coverage on weekends, and 24-hour holiday coverage • Call required 1 day per week and usually one weekend per month • Work in 5-room operating suite serving adult patients • 2 years of recent OR experience in community hospital or Trauma level 2 facility required • 2 years circulating experience required including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), and Plastic Surgery • Conscious sedation administration and monitoring experience required • Must be comfortable with GI cases and performing C-sections • Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS Certification • Epic charting system experience preferred • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing • All certifications must be AHA or American Red Cross • 2 references obtained within the last year required • Only one holiday time off will be approved Facility: This community hospital provides comprehensive surgical services with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary services.
