Infection Preventionist you always wanted to be · Direct the
managerial functions of our Infection Control Program · Assure
compliance with CMS, TJC, CDC, OSHA, and other federal and state
standards and guidelines. · Analyze hospital infection data to
identify trends, clusters, risk factors and variances. · Manage
hospital policies consistent with applicable infection control
guidelines and standards. · Perform surveillance, analysis, and
reporting of hospital-acquired infections. · Educate staff on
infection control protocols. · Serve as a knowledgeable and
available resource on infection control practices and policies. ·
Develop and maintain infection control standards meeting regulatory
guidelines. Qualifications Current license or certification as a
medical technologist, clinical laboratory scientist, physician, or
registered nurse. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a healthcare
field. 1 year experience in a clinical setting in field of
practice. Preferred: CIC Certification. Training in infection
control and/or epidemiology. Preferred: experience in hospital
infectio control practice. Completed post-secondary education in a
health-related field including but not limited to medicine,
nursing, laboratory technology, public health, or biology. The
