Job Description:
Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse)
Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days
Hours per Shift: 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Must-Have: - Experience in PCIs, peripherals, diagnostic caths,
nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters - Ability to circulate -
Knowledge of balloon pumps - STEMI experience preferred
Description: The unit currently has one cath lab, with plans to
expand to two in the future. Daily cases can vary from 0 to 5-6
cases. Staff will follow a flexible schedule, with shifts typically
starting at 7 AM but varying for earlier or later scheduled cases.
RNs must have the capability to help train new nurses, as
experienced staff will be providing guidance. All STEMIs are
referred to a nearby facility. Cancellation policy allows the
facility to cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
Charting is performed using Cerner.
