About The Position Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Otolaryngology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Carmichael, CA Service Setting: Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical Only Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-5p Patient Volume: 25-30 Physician in Practice: 1 Support Staff: 1 MA, 1 Surgery Scheduler Procedures: Laryngoscopy, Sinus Endoscopy, Cerumen removal, Otomicroscopy, Diagnostic biopsies throughout head and neck Duties/ Responsibilities: - Primary duty is to see patients in the clinic. - Perform bread-and-butter ENT surgeries for those patients, or to refer to the ENTs for surgery if desired. - NO call obligation but if interested, there are opportunities for hospital calls including trauma call.
