$2,979 per week About The Position Job Title: Operating Room
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating
Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00
- 17:00) Experience: 3 years, including travel experience of 6
months and experience in Ophthalmology License: Valid State RN
License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in Cataract
and Vitrectomy procedures Well-rounded intraoperative skill set
Willingness to participate in rotating on-call shifts, expected 1
to 2 times per month Description: We are seeking an experienced OR
RN with a strong background in Ophthalmology. The ideal candidate
will possess a well-rounded intraoperative skill set. The RN will
apply the principles of the nursing process and work within the
established policies and procedures of the department. As the
patient's primary nurse, the RN will be responsible and accountable
for the overall management of nursing care provided. This includes
ensuring competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care
from admission to discharge. The RN will assure the safety,
comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients, while
performing disease prevention and restorative measures. The RN must
be prepared to respond to medical and environmental emergencies.
