Job Description:

This is an exclusive opportunity to join the Pacific Drayage Services (PDS) under the umbrella of IMC Companies (IMCC). The Management Trainee will be selected and trained for six (6) weeks at the Memphis/Collierville locations and then return to the Tracy, CA location to complete the final six (6) weeks of training (total 12 weeks). This position will be based in Tracy area.

Position Overview: The IMC Management Training Program (MTP) is designed to provide a development path for future leaders. Each department or Operating Company (OpCo) will engage in the recruiting of candidates in their local area to fill future positions. Recruiting will include local college and trade schools. This will be a 12-week training program starting on or about June 6, 2022 and ending September 2, 2022 with a subsequent permanent placement in a position at the hiring department or OpCo.

The first six (6) weeks of training will be at the Memphis/Collierville, Tennessee locations for OpCo participants outside of the local area. the last six (6) weeks of training will be completed at PDS Tracy location.

Essential Job Functions

Successfully transition through the Manager Trainee Program over the course of a 12-week program
Works throughout different departments and areas of IMC Companies
Gains a full understanding of our industry, the services we provide, and the expected level of those services to be provided on a consistent basis
Working with new technologies and processes for increased proficiency and efficiency throughout

Job Requirements

Recent college graduate (last five years) with Business degree
Desire to learn and grow with the organization
Must be able to learn quickly to develop a strong business acumen
Desire for Leadership role and the respective associated responsibilities
Previous Leadership qualities/experiences
Great communication skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Ability to develop and present presentations
Easy to adapt to change
Good organizational and analytical skills
Quick learner and adaptable

Candidate will be selected by late May to begin in June 2022.
