Job Description Job Description Job Title: PM Mechanic Job Description Join our dynamic team as a PM Mechanic, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the machinery and equipment that keeps our operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for conducting routine and preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, assisting with equipment installation, and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment. Diagnose mechanical, low voltage electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime. Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in accordance with auditing standards. Navigate, maintain, and improve Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes. Essential Skills Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, including pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, and motors. Experience with conveyor systems, particularly chain-driven types. Ability to troubleshoot and repair bearings, gearboxes, cylinders, and perform electrical troubleshooting. Competence in preventive maintenance and welding. Familiarity with low voltage (24v) electrical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in industrial maintenance. Mechanical troubleshooting skills, specifically in hydraulics and pneumatics. Proven ability to repair gearboxes, bearings, and chain-driven conveyors. Work Environment Work in an automotive manufacturing environment where all necessary tools are provided. The shift is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr. health, dental, vision, 401k and paid PTO Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Greenfield,IN.
