Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities: Perform
production calibration of transmitters and related systems to
ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications. Work from
limited documentation, written and verbal instructions, schematics,
rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, and plans. Use multimeters to
measure voltage, current, and resistance in circuits, ensuring
accurate readings and diagnosing issues. Use manometers to measure
and monitor pressure levels in pneumatic systems, ensuring accurate
pressure readings and diagnosing issues. Inspect schematics and
diagrams for correctness. Work on analog and digital circuitry and
logic systems. Perform operational tests and fault isolation on
systems and equipment to ensure conformance with final product
specifications. Conduct and document complex product testing,
requiring improvisation of procedures, components, parts, or
apparatus. Determine methods or actions to rectify malfunctions.
Diagnose and repair electronic systems to ensure optimal
performance and reliability. Provide design details where lacking
and recommend modifications to engineering designs as necessary.
Perform a variety of test engineering support activities. Select
and set up test apparatus or devices/test equipment to test and
evaluate the performance and reliability of products. Set up
specialized test equipment for checkout of non-routine assemblies
and systems. Provide work leadership and technical assistance to
lower-level Technicians. Perform field service as needed, starting
up new equipment and/or repairing/recalibrating existing, with
travel up to 25%. Experience and Training: Electronics training
equivalent to two years of technical trade school, an AS degree, or
military technical school. Five years of directly applicable work
experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Working
Conditions: This position will involve operating calibration
equipment and a computer in a clean manufacturing environment, in
addition to traveling and working remotely at a variety of customer
jobsites (e.g., power plants, semiconductor and other manufacturing
facilities). Moderate physical work occasionally lifting objects
weighing up to 50 lbs. Physical Demand(s): Lift up to 50 , sitting
and standing for reasonable periods of time Visual Demand(s):
Ability to look at a computer monitor for reasonable periods of

non-exempt, onsite at Santa Rosa, CA location Monday - Friday,
$36.00 - $42.00/hour.
