Job DescriptionENGEO is hiring experienced, mid-career Geotechnical EngineersPosition Summary: As an ENGEO Project Engineer we would love to see you come in and hit the ground running. While working alongside peers and ENGEO's technical leaders, you will gain experience working on a wide variety of challenging and world-renowned projects. You will be encouraged and supported to manage increasingly complex and geotechnically challenging projects. A Day in the Life: "Ever-changing! In a given week I could be working on 10 different projects in different stages of design or construction. I have a good mix of heads-down work, fieldwork, and project management work. My advice is to find what types of projects, types of analyses, or skills you are looking to develop. You will get the opportunity to work on them - all you need to do is ask." - Teresa Klotzback, P.E., Project Engineer Primary Responsibilities Lead and manage projectsDevelop plans and specifications, foundation designs, settlement analyses, liquefaction analyses, and seismic evaluationDesign?earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, and landslide mitigationCreate geotechnical recommendations for the design and construction of private and public projectsOversee field work including exploratory logging, observation of pier and pile construction, and other construction observation, such as observation of grading operationsPerform other relevant duties as requiredOur Ideal Candidate A team player who enjoys fast-paced environmentsExperience in both design and construction geotechnical servicesExcited to take on new challenges, learn, and growHas an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitudeExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsDriven to go above and beyond in client serviceThrives on creative problem solvingProven track record in delegating tasksAbility to generate new work from existing and new clientsExperience mentoring staffExperience and SkillsAll Candidate Criteria More than five years of experienceLicensed as California Professional Engineer or licensed in another state and has the ability to become licensed in California within 6 monthsEducation: M.S. in Civil with Geotechnical Engineering specialty (minimum required)Experience with settlement, slope stability, seepage, and foundation design and construction; deep foundations, and shallow foundationsSeismic and GIS experience a plusJob BenefitsOur most important asset is our employees.
