Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant - Payroll, GAAP Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant - Payroll, GAAP - Skills Required - Payroll, GAAP, General Ledger, Internal Audits, External Audits, AP, AR, Month End Close, Cost AccountingIf you are a Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant with experience, please read on!What You Will Be DoingJOB SUMMARY:The Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant will work with the Controller, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Teams to perform a variety of General Ledger, Accounting and Month End job functions as well as balance sheet and income statement reviews and reconciliations. They will maintain balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, create and post journal entries, prepare inventory calculations, prepare weekly and monthly accounting reports, generate account analysis and prepare sales and expense analysis as part of the monthly close process. They will also assist in the creation of the monthly financial statement package. The Staff/General Accountant will assist with the day to day accounting functions and support the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department to include annual budget preparation and analysis and lead audits conducted by the outside CPA firm, banks and the 401(k) auditor.Incumbent must have knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, general ledger accounting, month end close processes, inventory reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll in a manufacturing environment. Construction Industry as well as public accounting experience is a plus.This position reports directly to the Controller and will perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
